Welcome to Donna Paolina Rooms & Apartments
Donna Paolina was born from a family estate set on the hills between Villamare and Sapri, overlooking the Gulf of Policastro.
A place now reimagined as a space for authentic hospitality, just a short distance from the sea and immersed in the Mediterranean scrub of Cilento, one of the best-preserved stretches of coastline in the Mediterranean and a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1998.
The apartments are designed for those looking for something different from an ordinary stay: the quiet of an unspoiled landscape, contact with nature that changes season after season, and the discreet care of people who truly live this place. Around the property, cork oaks and olive trees alternate with the estate's citrus groves and orchard, a living part of an agricultural property rooted in this corner of Campania.
A few minutes away are some of the most evocative destinations on the Tyrrhenian coast: Maratea, the "Pearl of the Tyrrhenian", with its 30 kilometres of wild coastline, medieval village and Christ the Redeemer on Monte San Biagio; Acquafredda, a seaside hamlet set among the rocks between Campania and Basilicata; Sapri, a small bay known for its Blue Flag beaches and the Risorgimento memory of the Spigolatrice; and farther on, Scario, gateway to Baia degli Infreschi and one of the most unspoiled stretches of coastline in the Mediterranean. Inland, the villages of inner Cilento, the National Park and a cuisine that has never stopped being deeply local, both expression and root of the Mediterranean Diet. All overlooking the Gulf of Policastro, where Campania, Basilicata and Calabria meet.
